Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact in the educational environment as a School Psychologist, supporting the mental health and academic success of students across a districtwide setting near Stanfield, AZ. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals driven to collaborate closely with educators, families, and students to create safe, supportive learning spaces. You'll play a key role in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs), comprehensive evaluations, and assessments while working exclusively onsite within district schools. Desired Qualifications:
Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met) Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a closely related field Hands-on experience with IEPs, student evaluations, and psychoeducational assessments Demonstrated understanding of K-12 education, special education law, and best practices in assessment and intervention Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive onsite environmentPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across the district Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and service providers Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as appropriate Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district and state requirements Experience the fulfillment of making a meaningful difference in students' lives while working alongside other passionate professionals.
