Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a fulfilling contract role as a School Psychologist, where you'll play a critical part in supporting students' emotional and academic development. This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 6, 2025, offering a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, weekdays from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm. Flexibility is available in assignments and caseloads, allowing you to tailor your work to areas that best match your abilities and interests. Your primary focus will be providing psychological services directly to students, working closely with educators and families to ensure the well-being and success of every learner. Your expertise and compassion will drive real change in students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic evaluations Recommend interventions and strategies to help students optimize learning and resolve psychological concerns Provide individual and group counseling sessions Support the identification and appropriate placement of students requiring specialized services Implement and monitor behavior modification plans as needed Maintain clear, collaborative communication with parents, teachers, and staff Prepare and maintain detailed records and progress reports
Requirements:
Active Virginia School Psychologist License Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting preferred Enjoy peace of mind with weekly pay, along with a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
