School Psych | West Chicago, Illinois ProCare Therapy - 3.9 West Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time | Contract $39.92 - $69.92 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth. Your expertise will help identify and address barriers to learning, foster a positive school environment, and empower students to reach their fullest potential. As a vital resource in the school community, you will provide direct services as well as consultative support to staff and parents.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (Illinois) Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Proficient in conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing intervention plans Familiarity with special education laws, IEP process, and multi-tiered systems of support Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering positive rapport with students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and participate in eligibility meetings Design and implement academic and behavioral interventions tailored to diverse learners Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social-emotional needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that improve educational outcomes Participate in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed Contribute to IEP/504 development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation Experience a role where your insights and care truly make a difference, driving positive change for students and the school community.
