is seeking a full-time school psychologist for the upcoming school year. Work alongside 2 wonderful, experienced school psychologists within the county! We offer drive time reimbursement for NCSPs. We are a local to Chesterfield, VA contract company providing SLP, OT, PT and school psychology services to 15 school districts in VA. QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a master's degree from an approved program in school psychology , consisting of 60 graduate semester hours, plus a one-year internship as prescribed by the college awarding the degree. Good knowledge of psychological theory and practice as applied to the behavior and development of children and young adults; ability to apply knowledge to the needs and requirements of a public school system; ability to gain the confidence and cooperation of students, teachers, and parents; ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the school and the community; analytic ability and adaptability to changing needs; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to write comprehensive reports; and ability to interpret findings to parents.

Provides the full range of psychological services to schools; systematically collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and interprets information necessary to guide services such as consultation, counseling, behavioral assessment and intervention planning, and psychological evaluation in the educational setting. _______________________________________________________________________
