In this contract-based position just outside Andover, MN, you'll play an essential role in helping shape positive outcomes for children and youth by conducting assessments, offering expert consultation, and directly impacting behavior support plans. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Demonstrated expertise in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Previous K-12 school setting experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite psychoeducational evaluations for students as referred by school teams Serve as a valued consultant to educators, administrators, and family members regarding student support Take a hands-on approach in developing and monitoring FBAs and BIPs Engage in problem-solving consultations and assist with interventions to address students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Provide recommendations and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required Maintain detailed reports and uphold compliance with applicable regulations and best practices This flexible contract role offers the chance to focus on essential psychoeducational and behavioral services without feeling stretched by full-time caseloads.
