Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, collaborative school environment where your skills as a School Psychologist can make a positive, lasting impact. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for an experienced professional ready to provide comprehensive psychological services for the 2026-2027 school year (NSY 26-27). Located within a supportive educational community, you'll play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 educational settings Familiarity with assessment tools and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, parents, and students Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation Comfortable working on-site; preference will be given to on-site candidates
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct evaluations to identify students' cognitive, academic, and emotional needs Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs Provide direct counseling and support services to students Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs Support the creation and maintenance of positive, inclusive school climates Offer crisis assessment and response as needed Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and school policies
