This is a full-time, on-site contract position for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, offering the chance to collaborate with educators and families to foster positive learning environments and promote students' academic, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current School Psychologist certification/license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain) Knowledge of best practices in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention within school settings Experience supporting diverse student populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Flexibility and adaptability in working with changing caseloads and needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral) Interpret assessment data and provide meaningful recommendations for IEP and student support meetings Participate in the multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) process Consult with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop individualized intervention strategies Deliver direct services including academic and behavioral interventions as needed Provide crisis intervention and respond to student mental health needs Maintain accurate case records and prepare clear, timely reports Engage continually in professional development related to school psychology practices You will benefit from professional growth opportunities, a supportive school environment, and a schedule that fosters work-life balance.
