Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist role is available in Eugene, OR, offering an opportunity to work within an educational setting on a contract basis. This position involves supporting the mental health and educational development of students by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation services to teachers, parents, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student learning, behavior, and emotional needs Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements Collaborate with educators and parents to create supportive learning environments Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience conducting assessments and interpreting psychological test results in a school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations and school staff Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and special education processes
