Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace an opportunity to create meaningful change for students as a School Psychologist supporting schools in the vibrant Baltimore area. As a valued member of the educational team, you'll support students' emotional and academic growth, play an integral role in shaping positive learning environments, and collaborate closely with educators and families. This on-site, contract-based position runs from late August through mid-June and offers a chance to work with a diverse range of students. Qualifications & Preferred Experience Master's or PhD in School Psychology Current certification or valid state licensure to practice as a School Psychologist Successful completion of time-sensitive district background check/fingerprinting and employment history review (per House Bill 486) Expertise in assessment, interventions, and counseling for school-aged children and adolescents Strong collaboration, consultation, and communication skills Adaptability to varying caseloads and school settings as assigned Core Responsibilities Conduct educational, psychological, and behavioral assessments for students K-12 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational and behavioral plans Provide counseling and support to students individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and academic achievement Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention efforts Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings Support district-wide initiatives to foster inclusive, safe learning environments Benefits & Perks Structured weekday schedule with 37.5 hours weekly Professional development and prescreen interview preparation provided Be part of a supportive and collaborative educational network Opportunity to make a long-lasting impact on student lives If you're passionate about student advocacy and thrive in a dynamic school setting, we invite you to apply today.
