Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real impact in education by supporting students' academic and emotional growth throughout the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time, onsite contract opportunity, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team at the middle and high school levels while playing a vital role in student success. You'll serve a diverse caseload of approximately 50-100 initial evaluations yearly, making a direct difference in students' lives. The district values culturally responsive practices and encourages candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish to apply, helping to meet the needs of the entire school community.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid PA School Psychologist Certification is required Experience working in middle or high school settings preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish highly valued Strong understanding of special education eligibility, assessments, and interventions Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and initial evaluations Provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and data-driven decision-making Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support positive learning environments Maintain accurate records and documentation, meeting all timelines and compliance standards This contract position is available from August 17, 2026 through May 26, 2027, offering stability for the entire academic year.
