Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in the Detroit, MI area. This full-time position offers multiple vacancies, giving you the chance to collaborate on a team dedicated to student success and well-being. In this role, you'll conduct observations, perform a range of psychoeducational evaluations, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. You'll also conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to help develop strategies that best support students' unique needs. By engaging with educators, families, and students, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Michigan School Psychologist certification (required) Strong understanding of the evaluation process in educational settings Experience with IEP processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with conducting FBAs and providing actionable insights Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services, including observations and assessments Deliver insights and recommendations as part of the IEP team Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to implement interventions Maintain detailed records and communicate findings effectively Assist in the development of behavior plans to meet student needs Compensation for this position ranges between $45 and $55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and the meaningful impact you provide.
