Job Description

This rewarding contract opportunity calls for an experienced School Psychologist to provide onsite services and collaborate closely with educational teams. With hours ranging between 30 to 50 each month, you'll enjoy a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle while working near the vibrant community of Forest Lake, MN.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license (current and in good standing) Background in conducting comprehensive student psychological and educational evaluations Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) & Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Strong consultation skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psycho-educational assessments to inform student supports Develop and participate in FBAs and craft effective BIPs in collaboration with staff and families Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that foster student growth Monitor intervention effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to eligibility and placement decisions Promote evidence-based practices and advocate for students' educational and mental health needs This unique contract position provides the opportunity to make a true difference while maintaining flexibility you value.
