Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting the emotional, academic, and behavioral development of students across both elementary and middle school settings. In this contract position, you'll be based at two neighboring schools, collaborating closely with faculty and intervention teams to ensure every child receives the support they deserve. Put your expertise in school psychology to work as a valued resource on a building team. Your leadership will be instrumental in daily problem-solving, contributing to the Student Intervention Team, and taking an active role with the Building Crisis Team. You'll perform core duties such as conducting evaluations, participating in the IEP process, and providing services that shape educational paths for students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This assignment runs from late July through early June, providing continuity throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-8 students preferred Previous involvement in IEP evaluation and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work confidently within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to onsite service delivery
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Lead and participate in IEP meetings and Student Intervention Teams Support behavioral and crisis intervention planning Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Develop and monitor intervention strategies that respond to student needs Serve as a key participant on the Building Crisis Team This contract opportunity immerses you in a supportive educational environment where your contributions will make a lasting impact.
