Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact on students' lives on the Southeast Florida Coast by providing essential psychological services within a dynamic school community. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated education teams across three campuses serving Pre-K through 8th grade students. The assignment is full-time, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, working on-site from August through early June.
Key Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist Licensure is required Experienced in conducting assessments, providing counseling, and writing comprehensive reports Familiarity with holding and contributing to meetings involving educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Up-to-date or readily obtainable fingerprint clearance (possible use of current DOH prints) Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses and manage responsibilities for a diverse age range
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological testing and psychoeducational assessments for students ranging from Pre-K to grade 8 Provide individual and group counseling for students with a variety of needs Participate in team meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement effective student support strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines Engage actively across three assigned campuses to ensure comprehensive student care This district is known for its efficient hiring process so you can expect a prompt interview and onboarding experience.
