Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist, supporting students across multiple school sites within a friendly, collaborative learning community. This onsite, full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with K-12 students and dedicated educators during the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll play a key role in fostering positive outcomes for students while enjoying the welcoming atmosphere of a vibrant district.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Colorado School Psychologist License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Experience working with K-12 students across various educational settings Strong assessment, intervention, and consultative skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Passion for student advocacy and commitment to supporting diverse learning needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student strengths and needs Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and implement IEPs Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services to students Facilitate training and professional development for staff on mental health, behavior, and learning strategies Maintain thorough, confidential student records and documentation This contract role offers a consistent, family-friendly schedule with 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, providing ample time for work-life balance.
