Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting academic, social, and emotional success as a school psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity for the new school year will allow you to collaborate with dedicated educators and families, using your expertise to foster positive outcomes for learners near Jefferson, GA.
Key Qualifications:
Current Georgia State Certification as a School Psychologist required Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Psychology required Ph.D. in Psychology highly desirable Previous teaching experience is an advantage Must possess a valid driver's license or have dependable transportation
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer psychoeducational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies Support individualized education plan (IEP) development for students in special education Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed Collect and analyze data to inform individualized service plans and progress monitoring Contribute to professional development workshops and training sessions for school staff Maintain confidential records and prepare reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
