Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting as a contract School Psychologist working with K-12 students for the duration of the 2026-2027 academic year. This dynamic opportunity will have you working district-wide, allowing you to collaborate with various teams and support a diverse group of students. The contract spans from early August 2026 to early June 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active School Psychologist certification or license Experience providing psychological services and assessments in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations Familiarity with IEP processes and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Strong report writing, assessment, and consultation skills Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Flexibility and adaptability to address varying caseload demands throughout the year
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to guide student support strategies Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions Participate in and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide direct and consultative services to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Support crisis intervention efforts and facilitate preventive mental health programming Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical, district, and state guidelines
