Key Qualifications:

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Georgia Proven experience in school-based nursing or pediatric settings highly desirable Comfort and expertise in 1:1 care with medically fragile children Clear background check and up-to-date immunization records Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, teachers, and families Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care during all school hours Administer medications and perform any required medical interventions promptly and accurately Monitor, document, and communicate the student's health status to the school team and guardians Support the broader educational experience by ensuring a safe, nurturing environment Implement IHPs (Individualized Health Plans) and participate in team meetings to adapt care as needed Maintain compliance with all state, district, and nursing guidelines and protocols Why Choose This Opportunity?
