Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized School Registrar to join our educational community! In this vital role, you will serve as the central hub for student records, enrollment processes, and academic documentation. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth registration procedures, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with students, faculty, and staff. As the School Registrar, you will play a key role in fostering an efficient academic environment by managing administrative tasks with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise in education administration and strong public speaking skills will help you engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students and parents. Duties Oversee student registration, enrollment, and withdrawal processes, ensuring compliance with institutional policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records using PowerSchool student information systems. Coordinate scheduling of classes, exams, and academic events while communicating schedules clearly to students and faculty. Serve as the primary point of contact for academic advising sessions and provide guidance to students regarding registration procedures. Conduct public speaking engagements at orientation sessions, informational meetings, and campus events to promote registration processes. Collaborate with admissions teams during recruiting efforts to ensure seamless onboarding of new students. Assist in coordinating university-wide data reporting and audits related to student information. Support working with students by addressing their inquiries promptly and professionally while fostering a welcoming environment. Collect, record, and verify report cards, transcripts, and teacher grade submissions. Prepare and send official transcripts for college applications, transfers, or employment. Prepare and submit required data reports to district or state departments of education regarding enrollment, dropout, and graduation rates. Process legal documents, such as subpoenas, custody orders, and McKinney-Vento (homeless) student information. Experience Proven experience in education administration or a related field within a university or school setting. Strong familiarity with PowerSchool or comparable student information systems is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent public speaking skills with experience conducting presentations or orientations for diverse audiences. Background in recruiting or working closely with prospective students is advantageous. Prior experience in teaching or academic advising enhances understanding of student needs and institutional processes. Experience working in a university environment or educational institution is highly desirable to ensure familiarity with academic workflows. Pay:
$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
