Key Qualifications and Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Prior experience as an RN in a school environment is strongly preferred Strong skills in assessment, critical thinking, and student health advocacy Excellent communication and organizational abilities Compassionate, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic illness management Collaborate with school staff and parents to create individualized care plans Respond to health emergencies and handle communicable disease control protocols Conduct health screenings for vision, hearing, and other needs Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Educate students and staff on health practices and wellness initiatives Promote a culture of inclusivity and safety across campus

Schedule and Commitment:
