Job Description
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Proficiency in the use of computers - Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Google and Facts SIS. Knowledge of theFACTS SIS
program and three years administrative assistant experience preferred. Ability to coordinate and process data in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to establish priorities, and meet deadlines accurately and precisely. Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and the ability to multitask. Ability to recognize problem areas, seek and provide solutions to increase efficiency. Self directed with the ability to ask for assistance when needed. Demonstrate qualities of loyalty and appreciation for confidentiality in relationships with teachers, assistant principal and principal and the school. Demonstrates a sincere interest in people of all ages and the ability to resolve their concerns without sacrificing objectivity for the needs of the school.RESPONSIBILITIES
: Serve as confidential secretary to the principal and assistant principal. Manage the absence spreadsheet keeping track of all teacher absences and acquiring substitutes when necessary. -Collect and review timesheets for hourly employees for signature and submission to payroll - business office. Administration of re-enrollment, wait list, enrollment, coordinate testing and shadowing for new student enrollment in Facts. Assign students into classrooms prior to the beginning of the school year. Coordinate pupil accounting for AOD, West Bloomfield and Brighton, along with providing accurate student information to both West Bloomfield and Brighton. Assist with coordinating school events, i.e. Open House each year. Maintain building calendar in google calendar and in the office. Manage/Report safety Drills. Manage and verify all students with allergies have proper paperwork, administer and document medication as needed. Manage and organize all student CA'60 information keeping it secure and in order. Verify that all information and forms are complete and in compliance with Preschool licensing guidelines. Order supplies for school and manage accounts for the business office budget. Maintain and report student immunization records in MCIR. General clerical duties, including, but not limited to: telephone calls, sending school messages, sorting mail, photocopying, filing, greeting visitors, assisting teachers/staff/administrators and students.
