  • 55/hour | Supportive District | Low Caseload Haynes Therapy Group is seeking a speech-language pathologist to join our team in North Georgia for the 2026-2027 school year .
This position is open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) who are looking for a supportive environment to begin or grow their careers in school-based speech-language pathology. Walker County is a small, close-knit district known for its supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and manageable caseloads. Because of the district's size and structure, clinicians receive strong support from both their school teams and from our company. Located just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee , this position is an excellent opportunity for Tennessee-based speech-language pathologists and Clinical Fellows who are interested in working in a supportive Georgia school district with a lower caseload and higher compensation that many neighboring districts. Many of our clinicians live in Tennessee and commute to nearby Georgia districts. If you currently hold a Tennessee license, we are happy to guide you through the Georgia licensure process, which is typically straightforward for qualified clinicians. For Clinical Fellows , this position offers an ideal start to your career. The district's low caseloads, collaborative school teams, and smaller district environment allow new clinicians the time and support needed to develop strong clinical skills while learning the pace and systems of school-based therapy.
Position Highlights:
$50+/hour compensation Caseload under 55 students Small, supportive, and close-knit school district Collaborative leadership and special education teams Located near the Chattanooga, TN area School placement may include elementary, middle, or high school Excellent opportunity for Clinical Fellows Clinical Fellowship Support Haynes Therapy Group places a strong emphasis on mentorship and professional development , especially for clinicians completing their Clinical Fellowship year.
Our CF-SLPs receive:
Dedicated CF mentorship that meets ASHA supervision requirements Regular check-ins and clinical support from experienced school-based SLPs Guidance with IEP development, evaluations, and school-based procedures Support navigating school systems, documentation, and compliance Access to a collaborative network of HTG clinicians across districts Because of the manageable caseload and supportive district teams , many CFs find this type of placement to be an ideal environment to grow in confidence and clinical skill during their first year.
Role Overview:
The SLP will provide services to students within the assigned school setting while collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication needs.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings Monitor student progress and complete progress reporting Maintain service logs and documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff through meetings and consultationsThe district provides training on its paperwork systems and offers ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
