Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students from preschool through 8th grade for the upcoming 26/27 School Year. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week in a contract setting, working alongside dedicated professionals committed to fostering communication and academic growth for children. With multiple openings available, there's ample opportunity to make a meaningful difference across diverse school communities. Bilingual skills are highly valued, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or comfort working with child find/preschool through middle school populations Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not mandatory Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities Initiative and adaptability in educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, individually and in groups Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for student success Document progress and maintain compliant records Participate in child find activities and team meetings to support early identification and intervention Imagine yourself shaping young minds and helping students gain confidence in their communication skills, all while working in a supportive, vibrant environment.
