Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a supportive environment where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success. As part of a collaborative team, you'll enjoy a balanced caseload providing both direct and indirect services, without extra district obligations beyond your scheduled hours.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Hold (or be eligible for) state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based setting is advantageous Capable of working effectively with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds and needs Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions to students in accordance with IEPs Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Utilize evidence-based strategies for both on-site and consultative service delivery Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for special education services
