Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication and educational success! A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a school-based setting during the 2026-2027 academic year. Both full and part-time opportunities are open, with the majority of your work centered on elementary students, while also serving some middle and high school students.
Qualifications:
Current license or certification for SLP or SLPA in Nevada (or eligible to obtain) Experience or strong interest in school-based settings; teletherapy experience welcomed Familiarity working with elementary-age students, plus middle and high school caseloads New graduates, Clinical Fellows, and experienced SLPs/SLPAs all encouraged to apply Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Comfort with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students individually and in groups Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and staff Utilize innovative, evidence-based practices in therapy and teletherapy (if assigned) Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as required Document student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with district and legal standards Support students' communication, social, and academic needs across grade levels
