School Speech and Language Pathologist | Chalmette, Louisiana ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Chalmette, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This onsite role centers primarily on working with elementary and middle school students, though caseload assignments may be tailored—elementary, middle, or high school—based on your skills and experience. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Strong organizational and communication skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators and staff to provide holistic support Maintain accurate records and progress notes Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success teams Provide direct and consultative services on campus You'll enjoy a supportive professional environment with a balanced caseload suited to your background.
