Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist with a rewarding full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for dedicated SLP professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of elementary students. You'll collaborate closely with staff, district personnel, and families, playing an integral part in fostering student communication success.
Key Qualifications:
Active and current New Mexico PED certification Valid New Mexico SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience in a school setting or working with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students as part of a dynamic school-based team Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment data to develop targeted intervention plans Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to help shape student success plans Coordinate effectively with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support each student's progress Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines This contract opportunity offers a highly supportive environment and the ability to build lasting relationships as you help students reach their communication goals.
