Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive on helping children achieve their communication and academic goals. In this position, you'll manage a diverse K-12 caseload, utilizing strong clinical skills and an understanding of school-based therapy to provide essential speech-language services. Your collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists will help create a positive impact on student progress and overall school success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association highly preferred Valid G License from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction required License from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, if applicable Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses for students' speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Advise educators and families on appropriate strategies and interventions Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Provide guidance and oversee support staff, as needed If you are passionate about fostering student development and delivering high-quality speech therapy services in a school setting, this opportunity is designed for you.
