Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers you the chance to build meaningful progress with children and adolescents in an engaging educational setting. Working 32 hours each week, you'll collaborate with SLPs and education teams to foster communication skill development among diverse learners. This role spans from September 2, 2026, to June 11, 2027, making it ideal for someone seeking a defined, impactful assignment. You'll put your clinical knowledge to use delivering high-quality speech and language services, all while working amidst the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State SLPA license (open to considering candidates relocating/traveling) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Passion for supporting children in their academic and social growth Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Adaptability to work effectively with students ranging from kindergarten through grade 12
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead SLP in delivering individualized and group speech-language interventions Document student progress and contribute to treatment planning Support special education compliance and best practices Participate in IEP meetings as needed, collaborating with teachers and staff Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all students Experience the satisfaction of partnering directly with educators and families to enrich students' lives.
