Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in student lives by providing exceptional speech-language therapy services in an educational environment. This contract opportunity supports students in developing their communication skills—whether in-person or through teletherapy—helping them reach their fullest potential. Ideal candidates will have experience delivering speech-language services in school or healthcare settings and possess strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs). The ability to adapt therapy methods and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff is essential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or healthcare context Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and remote assessment tools Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skillsResponsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as referred Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals as part of students' IEPs Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy sessions, both in-person and via teletherapy Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress reports and data logs Participate in IEP meetings and provide training or resources to educational staff Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and licensure requirements This is a contract position that offers a chance to work with diverse student populations and make a lasting impact on their educational journeys.
