Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students by providing essential Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services. This contract position is perfect for a dedicated SLP who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and thrives in a school-based setting. You'll support a welcoming K-8 environment while covering a maternity leave, bringing your expertise to help students develop crucial communication skills as the school year begins. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families, ensuring every student on the current caseload receives the highest standard of care. Your professional skills will enable you to assess, diagnose, and design tailored interventions that foster progress and confidence, all while experiencing the rewards of supporting a vibrant educational community. Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in South Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a K-8 school setting highly desirable Strong communication and organizational abilities Adaptable and able to manage a diverse student caseload Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Foster a supportive, inclusive environment throughout your assignment Discover the opportunity to work in a supportive school, gain valuable experience, and make a difference while covering this essential maternity leave contract.
