Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a certified Speech Language Pathologist. Serving multiple school sites, this contract position calls upon your expertise to support approximately 40 students during the school year. You'll collaborate with educators and families to provide essential speech and language services, ensuring each student's unique needs are met in a supportive, onsite environment.
Qualifications:
Valid SLP licensure with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF (Clinical Fellow) status South Carolina LLR (Labor, Licensing, and Regulation) license Current South Carolina Educator Certificate Experience delivering speech language services in a school setting preferred Commitment to working exclusively onsite during scheduled school hours Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions to elementary-aged students Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals; document progress per district and state guidelines Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to determine student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff for coordinated care and instructional support Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district reporting requirements Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, and professional development as needed
