Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a highly flexible contract role providing speech-language pathology services for students across several welcoming communities within a dynamic educational cooperative in the Emporia, KS region. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact supporting diverse caseloads, with assignment locations open within various school districts—all within a manageable drive from the main campus. Your expertise as an SLP-CCC will support students ranging from 10-12 on lighter days to 50-55 on busier weeks, serving a broad and rewarding caseload. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, giving you the flexibility to tailor your professional commitments to your personal needs. What we're looking for: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Kansas SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior school-based SLP experience preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Willingness to travel to any cooperative locations as needed (within one hour of Emporia, KS) Commitment to supporting the communication needs of K-12 students Key responsibilities: Deliver screening, evaluation, and therapy services to students in school settings Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Work closely with educators, support staff, and families Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely manner Serve as a resource regarding communication and language disorders in children Participate in IEP meetings and other interdisciplinary teams This is an onsite-only position, offering the flexibility of location and hours, so you can truly balance professional and personal priorities while making a difference in students' lives.
