Job Description

This contract opportunity near Lincolnton, NC, is perfect for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who have a passion for fostering communication skills and promoting academic success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Compassion for students and commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each student's unique needs Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Provide direct therapy services one-on-one and in group settings Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Educate families and staff on strategies to facilitate effective communication both at school and home
