Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing crucial speech and language services in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help students reach their communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Comfort serving a diverse student population across grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs among students Develop and implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success Document progress and update IEPs as required by district and state guidelines Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive student care Provide direct therapy both individually and in small group settings Educate staff and families on effective strategies for supporting students' communication skills This contract position offers the flexibility of working within the academic calendar, allowing for a rewarding work-life balance and opportunities for meaningful collaboration within the school community.
