Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic school environment near Norwich, VT. This position runs from August 25th through June 15th and is an ideal fit for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping children succeed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow therapists
Responsibilities:
Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Maintain accurate progress notes and complete required reports within deadlines Participate in IEP meetings as the speech-language expert, contributing to students' educational planning Provide training and support for teachers and staff on communication strategies and accommodations Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure effective carryover of skills Working in this role means making a measurable difference in the lives of students, helping them achieve their educational and personal growth goals.
