Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Support students' communication needs and make a difference in their educational journey in a rewarding contract opportunity available for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and are enthusiastic about working in a school environment near Port Gibson, MS. Two full-time roles are open, each offering the chance to impact a caseload of around 60-70 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, across two school sites.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state of Mississippi Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate case documentation and progress reports Serve two school sites with effective and responsive caseload management This contract role offers a consistent, 40-hour work week within the school year calendar, providing stability and a meaningful professional purpose.
