Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication development in a vibrant educational setting near Page, AZ. Work full time with a diverse K-12 student population, lending your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This contract position is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year, offering hands-on experience across all grade levels. Ideal candidates will bring a passion for working with children, strong teamwork skills, and an eagerness to help students achieve their speech and language goals. Experience in school-based settings is preferred, and candidates should be prepared to collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active SLPA certification required Arizona state SLPA licensure Valid AZ Fingerprint Card and FBI fingerprint clearance Previous experience in a K-12 school environment a plus Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Adaptable and able to work with students across varying grade levels and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of speech and language therapy plans under the direction of licensed SLPs Work with students individually and in groups across K-12 classrooms Track student progress and assist with documentation Communicate effectively with educators, families, and special services staff Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each student
