Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic Maryland school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate clinicians seeking to make meaningful impacts in the Baltimore area, working in-person from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027. As a valued team member, you will collaborate across school environments, providing pivotal speech and language services to school-aged children. You'll enjoy a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, focusing your expertise where it can truly make a difference.
What We're Looking For:
Completion of a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active Maryland Professional Licensure with documentation Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to provide or obtain credentialing documents, including background check/fingerprinting required by House Bill 486 Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language interventions for school-aged students (caseloads and exact age groups assigned upon placement) Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and implement evidence-based therapy Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' success Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements Engage in professional development and prescreen interviews as part of the onboarding process Seize this chance to combine your clinical talents with your passion for student advocacy in a supportive, collaborative setting.
