Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid SLP-CCC certification Previous experience in school-based speech therapy or similar pediatric settings Strong communication and collaborative skills, working seamlessly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and documentation requirements Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to tailor therapy to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, supporting IEP goals in direct and consultative roles Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions individually or in groups Track and document student progress, keeping accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom Communicate progress and strategies clearly with caregivers and participate in IEP meetings Embark on an assignment where your clinical skills make a measurable impact in students' daily lives.
