Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging opportunity supporting students during the ESY (Extended School Year) session from July 7 through August 7. This contract-to-hire role is a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic school environment near the beautiful North Kingstown area. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff, work directly with students to bolster communication skills, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Licensed (or ability to obtain licensure) as an SLP in Rhode Island Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Passion for making a difference in children's lives
Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to students per IEPs Conduct evaluations, write reports, and track student progress Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Support student participation, academic achievement, and social success Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and welcoming environment for all students
