This school-based opportunity covers the end of the current school year (June 1-June 25) and can be extended into the summer session (July-August) based on your interest. Assist a group of 12 preschool students within a nurturing, educational environment that values expertise and compassion.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

Current RN license in New York State required School-based nursing experience preferred; experience with preschool or early childhood populations is a plus Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and emergency response skills Ability to communicate sensitively with young children, school staff, and families Collaborative attitude and reliability in a school setting Flexibility to adapt to changing needs throughout the day

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver attentive daily care for a class of 12 preschool students with varying healthcare needs Administer first aid, routine medications, and health procedures as prescribed Maintain accurate health records and follow school policies regarding student care and safety Serve as a crucial liaison among students, staff, and families regarding student health concerns Monitor for signs of illness, provide health education, and promote a safe environment Respond promptly to minor and emergent health issues as they arise Support the school team in any health-related aspects or emergencies
