Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students with high needs. This full-time, onsite contract spans from April 20th to May 22nd, 2026, with a seamless transition into Extended School Year services from June 1st to June 30th (holiday observed on June 19th). You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a dynamic school setting.
What You'll Bring:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience delivering SLP services within school environments, preferably elementary level Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing therapy plans for students with diverse communication needs Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Strong documentation and organizational skills Comfort providing services exclusively onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students with high needs Conduct assessments to inform Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Create engaging, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student Track progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state guidelines Offer consultation and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies Maintain clear, professional communication with all educational partners Perks of this
