Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students' communication skills from early childhood through high school. This full-time contract role spans the upcoming academic year from August 26 through May 27, offering you a stable and impactful assignment within a supportive educational environment. The position features a focused 35-hour workweek, running Tuesday through Friday with 8.75-hour workdays, providing that sought-after long weekend every week. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team while managing a caseload of approximately 50 students. Most current assignments are with early childhood and elementary learners, allowing you to make a difference in foundational language and communication development. Qualifications & Preferred Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or nearing program completion Valid state licensure or eligibility; Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates welcome Prior school-based SLP or relevant pediatric experience is preferred Comfortable working with diverse age groups and a varied caseload Strong collaborative, organizational, and documentation skills Key Responsibilities Conduct speech and language assessments for students across grade levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-to-one settings Communicate progress with teachers, staff, and families Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events You'll thrive in this setting if you're passionate about nurturing student growth while benefiting from a balanced weekly schedule.
