Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving the K-12 age group in a school setting. This role involves working full-time, 40 hours per week, from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027. The position is located in Florence, Colorado. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized therapy plans that support students' academic and social communication needs. Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions are also essential duties to ensure effective support for each student.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification appropriate for school settings Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments Strong skills in speech and language assessment, intervention planning, and progress documentation Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Effective communication and organizational skills This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities within a supportive school environment.
