Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or in progress Previous experience in a school-based setting is ideal, though strong candidates from clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply Comfortable working with diverse ages and abilities, including IEP development and implementation Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to collaborate with educational teams, families, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for support Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified needs and educational goals Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and ongoing documentation Partner with teachers and other specialists to support the whole child in the learning environment Engage in outreach and education for families and staff as needed This contract opportunity offers the chance to develop professionally, gain exposure to a dynamic school environment, and make a daily difference in students' lives.
