Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school setting near Easton, MD! You'll collaborate with educators and families, empowering students to communicate confidently and achieve their fullest academic and social potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure Experience providing speech services in school settings preferred Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students' speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver therapy both in-person and via teletherapy, adapting approaches as needed Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Engage teachers and parents in the treatment process, providing resources and guidance Assist with IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team's planning Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and advocate for students' needs This contract role offers flexibility and the opportunity to positively influence young learners' lives in a supportive school environment.
