Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting student communication skills in a vibrant clinic setting! This full-time contract opportunity near Biddeford, ME calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to work with a focused caseload of 15 students, delivering high-quality interventions and collaborating with a passionate team.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license (Maine or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience within a school or clinic-based environment is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and adapt individualized therapy plans Commitment to evidence-based practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for assigned students Develop and implement engaging treatment plans tailored to individual communication needs Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide training and resources to staff and families for enhanced support outside of sessions Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and compliance requirements This contract role is perfect for an SLP ready to provide meaningful, individualized services in a collaborative environment with a manageable caseload.
