Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact helping students succeed by providing speech and language support in a school-based environment. This contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathologists the chance to work closely with educators and families, supporting communication development and student progress. You'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to ensuring students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Proficient in conducting speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver direct therapy for a wide range of communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress Provide consultation and support to instructional staff as needed Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities Working as a contract SLP allows for professional growth, flexibility, and the rewarding experience of seeing students reach their potential.
