This unique opportunity runs from June 1 to June 25, offering the chance to extend into the summer program through July and August if you wish to continue. The assignment features regular weekday hours, allowing for a stable work-life balance. What we're seeking: Current RN licensure in New York State Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage medical needs and emergencies confidently Compassion and patience when working with young children What you'll do: Oversee daily health and medical needs of 12 preschool students Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate health records and documentation Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and support staff Serve as a resource to promote health, hygiene, and safety within the classroom setting Respond swiftly and effectively to minor injuries or health concerns Support students' overall well-being and provide a reassuring presence You'll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 3 pm, helping ensure continuity for the children's routine.
